HRB has three MSc thesis project openings!

All three projects (minimal 6 months) are related to the optimization our TiGER plant genome editing pipeline. Two concern research into the improvement of genome editing (multiplexing, off-target evaluation, and gene alteration) and one related to plant regeneration (protoplast to plant). Because of the need for confidentiality, it is not possible to provide an extensive description, but more details will be provided when selected for an interview – prior to the interview you will be asked to sign an NDA.

 Desired skills:

  • Basic molecular biology skills (PCR, Gel electrophoresis, DNA quantification, Cloning)
  • Sterile working technique (Crossflow, Downflow cabinets)
  • Plant tissue culture experience
  • NGS data analysis
  • Technical proficiency
  • Independence
  • Communication skills
