WUR develops plant-produced vaccine against cattle nematode

🌱 The key innovation lies in #mimicking the native protein’s N-glycosylation pattern using Nicotiana benthamiana plants, achieving a 39% reduction in parasite egg output! This is a promising result comparable to the native antigen. This novel approach offers new possibilities for controlling parasitic nematodes, while transforming vaccine development in veterinary.
